Waterkloof claims second national CSA T20 Schools Challenge title

PSX_20200308_173610 School of Cricket | NewsWaterkloof was crowned champions of the CSA T20 Schools Challenge for the second time in the competition’s history after defeating SACS of Cape Town by 15 runs in the final at the Tuks Oval in Pretoria.

SACS entered the final as the only undefeated team during the finals weekend after Klofies suffered a 38-run defeat against Kearsney College in their final cross-pool match of the competition. 

The defeat in the final ended a 24-match unbeaten run in T20-cricket by SACS. The team from Cape Town put up a massive fight after Klofies set them a mammoth target of 187 for victory.

Waterkloof and SACS to clash for the National T20-title

PSX_20200306_160342 School of Cricket | NewsA new champion with be crowned tomorrow during the final day of the annual Cricket South Africa T20 Schools Challenge in Pretoria. The champions of 2011, Waterkloof of Pretoria, will face SACS of Cape Town, who will be playing in their first final from 14:00 at the Tuks Oval.
